About David
Hi! I’m David Pickett; this is my first venture in the auto industry, and I love working for Serra Buick GMC Cadillac. I am tremendously proud of being a part of such an honest, friendly, people-centered organization! From our General Manager on down, everyone only wants the best for all! My colleagues know me for my sincerity and genuineness. Helping others and providing caring service is what I do for my guests. Many of my customers praise me for my professionalism and friendly demeanor, but that’s just who I am. If I can make someone’s day better, I try to do just that. It is important to me to greet everyone in a happy/friendly way as they have chosen to be served by the best dealership in the area! Outside of work, spending time with my wife and sons is always the best. My three sons are young adults, and we are proud of the successful fields they have chosen. I am very active at my church, an assistant choir director, and on the Board of Education for our school. Traveling is something I love to do. Between 15-20 times per year, I fly out of state to judge various bands and drum lines across the country. While in college, I traveled to Switzerland, where I performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. I graduated from Western Michigan with a double major – Music Education and Business Administration, and from MSU with a Master’s degree in Percussion Pedagogy.
